An Elm & Fire pattern Resin coffee table. The mixture of red, orange and gold pigments creates a fire pattern in the epoxy resin. This paired with the intense colour and grain results in a unique Elm & Fire Resin table. Although solid coloured epoxy resin is very effective in a lot of tables, the use of a mixture of similar pigments can often give the table more depth and character. However, beauty is the observers’ eyes.
Finished with mineral oil on the Elm and polishing compound on the epoxy. This table is also fitted with powder-coated steel ‘Z’ legs.
The dimensions are as follows:
The Elm used for this river table was originally an offcut when sourced, making it the perfect upcycling project. Environmental sustainability is a large factor for all of my projects. That’s why I only use hardwood offcuts for my projects, making all my products not only more sustainable but also upcycled.
